How does the online ordering process work?
Select your room package based on the number of rooms in your home. Find specific details on each package on the Bundle Pricing page, then add it to your cart on the Order page.
Select additional accessories you would like to help your move go as smoothly as possible. Add these items to your cart on the Order page.
Once you have chosen all the items you would like to rent for your move, checkout using the cart in the top right corner of the page. (The cart appears once you add an item to it.)
When you go to check out you will fill out a form choosing your delivery time & date.
Does Elephant Trunk Moving Supplies provide moving services?
We do not provide moving services, but we happily suggest Wildcat Movers or Full House Moving.
Do I need to be home for the delivery and pickup of the supplies?
We can work out an arrangement that works best for you and the delivery person. We are flexible!
Does Elephant Trunk service out of area moves?
Currently, we only are able to work with moves that are within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. But we hope to be able to go longer distances some day!
ARE THE boxes CLEANED BETWEEN RENTALS?
Absolutely! We hand clean each container between each rental.
Can i keep my rental items longer if i need to?
Of course! We are more than happy to work with you to make your move as easy as possible. Just call or text (214-755-4675) or email (john@elephanttrunk.net) us, and we can work out an extended rental.
what is the cost of delivery?
The cost of the bedroom packages includes one delivery, and one pick up. Any additional trips will cost $25.00
How long does it take to pack a three bedroom house?
You should give yourself at least three to five days
What should be moved first when packing a truck for a move?
Place the heaviest objects in the back of the truck. This usually entails furniture, mattresses, and large appliances.

What Can I Use Instead of Cardboard Moving Boxes?
Some folks have been know to use burlap sacks, but they tend to distend some under weight, and they’re really not so good for fine china.
Others have used empty twenty pound charcoal bags, but with so may going to gas grills, the supply is down.
At Elephant Trunk Moving Supplies, we recommend renting our reusable, recycled plastic boxes. They’re easier to pack, easier to stack, and easier to move than other containers. Plus, they take time off the preparation, the actual move, and the unpacking.
How do you pack a house fast?
1. Rent Moving Boxes. Elephant Trunk Moving Supplies can help you.
2. Gather all the moving/packing supplies ahead of time.
3. Pare down or declutter. There is no better time to do this
4. Pack an “Open First” box.
5. Start with the room that is easy to pack.
6. Pack by room and label accordingly.
7. Leave clothes in dressers and hangars (cover them with plastic)
8. Leave non-fragile items in the drawers and secure them with tape.
9. Leave fragile items till the end, so you can take the time to pack them securely
